Installation

Installing the Mail Slot Mailbag is very easy. The bag comes pre-assembled and includes all hardware needed to install.

Wood Garage Door Installation Requirements:
Tools Needed:

• Tape Measure or Ruler
• Phillips Screwdriver

For a wood garage door, the mailbag attaches to your garage door with 2 metal brackets and (4) 3/8” wood screws. Once the brackets are installed, the pre-assembled mailbag slides easily into the brackets completing the installation.

Metal/Composite/Fiberglass/All Other Garage Door Installation Requirements:
Tools Needed:

• Tape Measure or Ruler

For these types of garage doors, 2 metal brackets attach directly to the garage door with double-sided adhesive tape especially made for non-wood doors. Once the brackets are installed, the pre-assembled mailbag slides easily into the brackets completing the installation.
