No, for wood doors all that is needed is a Phillips Screwdriver and a tape measure or ruler. For all other garage door types, no tools are needed except for the tape measure or ruler.

Yes, the Mail Slot Mailbag is designed to install quickly and easily. The bag is pre-assembled on the steel rod and only the brackets need to be installed onto the garage door.

On a wood garage door, what is the size of the installation screws?
There are only 4 screws that need to be installed and they are each 3/8" long.

Will the Mail Slot Mailbag damage my car?
The mailbag's flexibility and soft fabric will not damage your car.
